DESCRIPTION:Frankie is a 5 year old Australian shepherd who has been a Therapy Dog for 2 years, she has visited school, ambulance corps, and hospitals to comfort and entertain EMTs, the elderly, and help children learn how to read. It’s been shown that when children read to dogs they don’t feel pressured about making mistakes and read more freely and more frequently. Frankie is a show dog and has competed in agility (obstacle courses), tracking (finding lost items and people), herding (getting livestock from one place to another), obedience, and conformation (pretty dogs that are on TV), she’s even an expert trick dog and knows over 20 different behaviors!
