We are currently seeking professional candidates to fill the following two positions:
Library Director
The Scenic Regional Library Board is seeking qualified applicants for the Director of a three county library system located in east central Missouri one hour southwest of St. Louis.
The library serves a population of 116,117 through seven libraries and a bookmobile in Franklin, Gasconade and Warren Counties with a collection of 296,600, circulation of 536,700 and an operating budget of $2.1 million.
The Library Director reports to a 15 member Board and is responsible for the overall direction, organization and coordination of activity in the library system.
Qualifications: MLS from ALA accredited program with a minimum of 5 years professional, supervisory, administrative public library experience required. Position requires proven financial management skills, thorough knowledge of the public library experience, understanding of current library technologies and trends, and excellent communication skills.
Compensation: Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits include health insurance and retirement plan.
