Do you have unanswered genealogy questions? Scenic Regional Library’s Genealogy Help Desk provides basic genealogy research assistance. The Help Desk utilizes the library’s online databases, free online resources, and other libraries and historical societies to fulfill requests.

When making requests, please keep the following in mind:
- Provide as much information as you have related to a request.
- Requests are answered in the order in which they are received.
- We cannot locate living friends or relatives for you. Records of living persons are not easily accessible due to privacy laws.
Scenic Regional Library’s Genealogy Help Desk reserves the right to discontinue or disregard requests from professional genealogists, fee researchers, or other individuals who attempt to use our reference services for monetary gain or from individuals who utilize these services excessively.
