WHAT IS THE COMMUNITY READ?

The goal of the community read is to unite the communities of Franklin, Gasconade, and Warren counties together by reading and discussing the same book at the same time. Scenic Regional Library, Washington Public Library, and East Central College have partnered to host an annual Community Read each Spring. This year the Community Read will be March 1 to March 31. You can pick up a copy of the books at each library beginning on February 24. There will be free programs throughout the three-county area, on the themes of Truman and travel.
