Scenic Regional Library Union Branch

The new construction will be Scenic Regional Library Union branch, a new ground-up facility consisting of 22,955 square feet. The building is classified as A-3 and S-1 use groups, construction type is IIB and the building will be fully sprinklered. The building is made up of the following areas; Entry vestibule, restroom core and community meeting rooms.

The main library space consists of the open circulation/stack areas, a children’s area, adult and teen’s area and circulation desk. Behind the circulation desk is a work room, office, conf. room and storage room specific to the Union Library Branch. This facility will also house the Scenic Regional Library Administration staff with areas consisting of the following areas; small lobby off of the main lobby, admin. private offices, shared office work areas, book mobile storage area, maintenance work area, IT staff work area, shared break room and shared building support spaces.
