Business and Human Resources Manager
Scenic Regional Library is seeking qualified candidates to fill an exempt full-time, Business and Human Resources Manager position at its Headquarters location in Union, MO.  Scenic Regional Library is a consolidated library district serving Franklin, Gasconade, Warren Counties and a portion of Crawford County.  The district’s annual budget is approximately $5 million with a staff of 70 employees. The Business and Human Resources Manager is responsible for daily oversight of administrative operations in the areas of accounting, finance, purchasing, accounts payable, payroll and human resources.  The position shares responsibility for the operation of the library district by serving as a member of the administrative team with the Director and other administrative staff.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Two to five years accounting experience required.  Experience with QuickBooks payroll preferred.  Experience with QuickBooks Non-Profit 2015 preferred.  Library or public sector experience preferred.  Human resources generalist experience preferred.

Starting salary range $50,000 – $60,000 and includes benefits of paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.  Employer provides health, dental and life insurance, and retirement plan.

Children’s Programmer & Circulation Clerk
Scenic Regional Library‘s St. Clair branch is seeking qualified applicants to fill a part-time position. The position is responsible for planning, presenting programs and activities for diverse age groups, to encourage reading and stimulate use of the library including weekly Story Time, summer reading programs, school tours, class visits, outreach programs and special events.  It also involves working at the circulation desk assisting patrons find materials and answering reference questions, assisting patrons with technology-related questions and issues, and includes other general clerical duties.  This position requires the ability to lift up to 40lbs.  The salary starts at $10.00 per hour for 24-28 hours per week, including some evening and Saturday hours.  A high school diploma, good computer skills, and customer service experience are required.  For a complete job description, click here.
